Lovely dinner with new friends. Food was great. Staff was friendly and service was attentive. Only downside was donuts were undercooked. They were quickly removed from the bill. The manager explained it was the first time the kitchen person had cooked them and he made them too big.
We were in the area and decided it was time for lunch. Seated outside, by choice on a beautiful day. I was hungry for pasta and delighted they had it. Added meatballs...and was delighted the sauce was delicious.I Just the right portion for lunch.
Had dinner here on the last night of our Palm Springs getaway. It was 30 minutes from our hotel in Palm Springs and ABSOLUTELY worth the drive!!!!! We had the sauteed sand dabs and the lobster lasagna. Incredible! Truly!!
Eggplant cigars and naanwiches! Small eatery with tasty menu options and friendly staff! Sat indoors- but also has outdoor seating. Reasonable pricing. Parked in the nearby ramp for free.
A real good restaurant with real good food! The dishes are researched, creative and taste delicious. The owner Sally works there. This is a totally different vibe and quality to most corporatized restaurants out there. I’ll be back!

My wife and I stopped for a light lunch at the Seeet Basil Eatery in Palm Desert. We were greeted by Martin with a big smile. He showed us to a great table outside. It was a beautiful day. My wife suggested the Caprese salad. That was a wonderful choice. Fresh mixed greens with yummy soft Burrata and excellent balsamic. This fantastic salad came with heirloom tomatoes and some red onion. We asked Martin for a little fresh Parmesan to top our salad and a little olive oil on the side. This was an outstanding lunch, honestly one of the best Caprese salads I’ve ever had. I’m so glad my wife decided to stop here. I left Martin a great tip he earned every penny of it. When you get good food and good service be sure to leave a great tip! I would highly recommend the Sweet Basil California Eatery to anyone. This was truly a 5 star experience!
Wow. Whata fantistic little restaurant! Great menu. Ordered the shrimp and grits and was so flavorful. Also the Sallys pasta was phenomenal. Fresh ingredients and delightful owners. Bread pudding for dessert capped off the night perfectly. Ate outside and started at the beautiful mountains.
